If you don't need to access the internet for tests, I would say yes, it will work well for you. However, I have been having issues with mine crashing the internet, and loading slowly when it does work.

This is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Celeron processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for light work on Microsoft Office type programs and light internet browsing. If this describes your computing needs, the IdeaPad 330-15 would be a good choice.
