Charmon, Unless you are in an organization that requires MS Word, Excel, etc., I recommend downloading LibreOffice. It is open source and will read and write the MS formats (docx, xlsx, etc.). I've been using it for about 5 years now and have always found a way to do what I needed to get done. Obviously, it doesn't cost anything to try it out. Doug
