Perfect for a college student.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That really will depend on the programs the student will need to install on the computer and the requirements and compatibility of those specific programs. We recommend you check with the specific software publisher's web sites that the student will need to install, for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No doubt. I own this computer and it is actually better for a student/light business than for gaming. The only negative is a somewhat short battery life. Otherwise, this is a solid budget laptop.
