Does it connect to 5 gHz wifi or only 2.4ghz? null

Not to argue with the Lenovo expert but... Device Manager information: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter https://www.qualcomm.com/products/qca9377 Dual-band 1 x 1 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.1 The QCA9377-3 is a single-die wireless local area network (WLAN) and Bluetooth combination solution to support 1 × 1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN standards and Bluetooth 4.1 + HS, designed to deliver superior integration of WLAN/Bluetooth and low-energy technology.

This system has 802.11AC WiFi capability. If you have b/g/n 2.4GHz-5.0Ghz router, this system will only connect to the 2.4GHz frequency.

This system has 802.11AC WiFi capability. If you have b/g/n 2.4GHz-5.0Ghz router, this system will only connect to the 2.4GHz frequency.
