I don't know the type of display but IPS is supposed to be good for viewing from different angles and mine is not. I took off 1 star in my rating because of this. Perhaps its a result of the anti-glare coating ..... ?

It's a TN Display - not an IPS one. Looks incorrect on the specifications tab.
