Very very happy with this Lenovo Chromebook laptop. It is m first non Windows laptop and I could not be more happy with how fast it boots up, turns off, ease of adding/removing apps, simplicity of its Settings, great battery life, FHD display. We don't need a backlit keyboard or incredible speakers, so for well under $200, I'm not sure what laptop can do what this one can. I wish I needed another one, cuz I'd buy again in a heartbeat.

I bought this for my 9th grader. He also uses it to play online games. So far it is holding up well as far as storage. It hasn't slowed down in speed either.

Great machine for the value. It is sturdy, with a very long hinge for the monitor, and is ideal for the youngest and elderly members of the family. It is slow with large spreadsheets though.

Yesterday I bought this laptop. I'm very happy with it, it's a wonderful device, my first Chromebook. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth doesn't work, I've tried to connect my speakers, cellphone, ear buds, mouse (all of them are Bluetooth) or detect whatever device near to this one but it doesn't recognizes anything, my list is empty. Obviously, it's activated in Settings. What can I do? Return it?

I've had this product for about 2-3 years. Overall, the product is good, especially for the price. It can handle some multitasking, and provide features such as separate desktops with the traditional chromebook UI. Pros: Given my budget and being a college student, I needed something affordable but could get the job done. This laptop does exactly that. I'd say the best thing about this laptop itself is the battery life. I can use it for days straight for a few hours at a time before I get to charge it. It also charges really fast. Cons: The speed is 4GB ram, which is decent and in this price point it is to be expected, its rare to find 8gb ram laptops below 200 dollars. And again, I only needed a laptop to get my work done, I didn't mind the quality of it. When I go on youtube, it takes a while for it to load, at least an extra ten seconds. it's why i usually watch stuff on my phone or tablet. Not only that but other sites, like amazon. it's not an instantaneous page load. When I first got the laptop, it was obviously fast. Over time that speed depreciated gradually. It is still able to operate well though. One time, it took a full minute for my screen to unlock after putting the correct password in. I dont have that problem all the time, but it's not high-performance. The display is ok, but if the screen is angled a certain way you cant see it well. HUGE CON: WHEN YOU MAKE THE FIRST PASSWORD TO YOUR CHROMEBOOK, WRITE IT DOWN (im not yelling but trying to emphasize the importance of this, and im talking about a word password that may include numbers of your choosing). I emphasize this, because if the computer dies, YOU POTENTIALLY LOSE ALL THE LOCAL DATA if you lose or forget the password (downloads, etc). This has happened to me twice, which wasnt the worst because I usually upload most of my important files to drive. When my computer first got wiped, I made a new password. I used that password when the second time it died happened, but it was wrong somehow. so I lost all of my data again, which is annoying. Now im at a point where I'm willing to spend more money on a better laptop that has more ram, storage, cpu, and no memory wiping issue. You get what you pay for, it's an ok-good computer for what i needed it for, but it made me learn that its better to spend more on a laptop, at least 300 dollars more, if it can last longer and give you the performance you want. This is a good school or work computer. It cannot handle gaming, obviously. But I will not be buying a chromebook in the future based on this experience. I've grown up with windows, and at some point in the future I will be buying something more sustaining and stronger.

Great device! Light weight, fast, and long lasting battery! I especially love it's portable size and the ease of use that the key board size provides. The keyboard and key pad feel very smooth, almost intuitive. Moreover, the screen display size if perfect for streaming, as I usually like to watch video on youtube while placing the laptop/streaming device on my chest...so the screen size to distance ratio is perfect for that close proximity usasage. This is why the laptop being lightweight is crucial, and I especially love that no matter how extensively I use it with several tabs open, it never overheats and continues to work at fast reload rates!

I really had no reason to buy this as I have a newer windows laptop and a samsung tablet. I just wanted to try out chrome and see how it worked. The over look and feel of this chromebook is nice. It is made out of plastic, but is super light, the keyboard is easy to type on (not lighted), the screen has a matte finish so no glare. The screen is 1080 and looks great! I use it a lot to watch videos/TV at work and the screen being high def made a big difference compared to the 720 screens. Battery life is amazing, I watch videos all day on a moderate to high screen brightness. After about 6 hours the battery is still at 60%. ChromeOS is very basic but in a good way. The computer has never hung up slowed down even with lots of applications running. I'm also able to use google play for android apps and those have been working well on this computer. I'm now wondering why I bought a windows computer when this can do 90% of that windows computer at a way cheaper price. I will say if you use word/excel/power point or other windows specific programs you will want a windows computer. If you are just browsing the net, watching videos, or doing other non windows task, this computer is perfect!

Very nice inexpensive Chromebook but you do get what you pay for. It was pretty fast with minimum demands, yet not good for anything graphically intense nor for moderate gaming apps. I also had a very hard time with the anti-glare screen. Had to hit that sweet spot when adjusting or it was about half the graphic visual. I also had a difficult time trying to keep my data below 64gb of memory. Added a micro SanDisk for file storage, which helped immensely. All in all I feel this would be a great little laptop for online learning and other basic requirements, just not enough for my needs. I ended up purchasing a Lenovo Yoga which has all the features I love including a much faster processor and 512GB SSD.

For the price, this is a great Chromebook. Battery life is outstanding and it works great for light usage, including web browsing, word processing, YouTube, etc. Note that this is absolutely not designed for gaming or video editing, but it's a good choice for kids, teenagers, and adults who need a simple, affordable Chromebook for everyday usage. I've had mine for two years now and it's still going strong.

Purchased to give child a larger screen and keyboard/mouse capabilities on apps and to remote connect for days when school was done remotely. For a Chromebook, it is a solid device, holds charge, and handles all the tasks my child through at it. The operating system does have its limitations -- so I did find myself wishing I had gone with a Windows laptop instead so more software could be installed and used. But that is a lesson learned. Also found out that some of the remote school software did not work correctly even though Google Classroom should have been fully compatible. But software issues are not the fault of this Chromebook. For the price, this worked well for at least 90% of things my child needed.

Compact. Lightweight. Can fit in a big pocketbook. Ease of use

I am mostly happy with my new Lenovo chromebook. It was easy to set up and it found both my printers with no problems! I was also pleased to see that the AUE (Auto Update Expiration) date is September 2028..so 7 years for this one compared to 5 years on my previous chromebook. The price was good, it charges quickly and has great battery life so far. It is pretty easy to use for my needs which are mostly email and internet searches and connecting to my Xfinity stream and a little work in Google docs. I did not give a 5 rating because I have had a few times where the screen has locked on me and I also have worked to try and adjust the clarity and color. My senior citizen eyes sometimes have difficulty with print being not as dark and clear as I need, expecially when print is in colors other than black.

I absolutely love this Chromebook!! It’s my 3rd one I’ve owned, first Samsung then Toshiba now the Lenovo version. I don’t remember how much battery life it claims, but I swear I get like 15+ hours of usage then like an hour or so to charge. Screen looks amazing, speakers are loud and I love them being on the sides of the keyboard and not on the bottom like so many others. Unless you need special programs like CAD or idk, it does everything you need and is sooooo much less expensive and lighter than a traditional laptop. With Chrome OS having built in virus protection and updates so quickly it’s a nobrainer when needing a computer. And the price I got this for $169, I feel it’s value is over $400. Buy this and stop searching for expensive laptops that force you to use Microsoft and charge you every time a new version comes out!!!

Bought this to replace 8th grade son's old Chromebook that died. It has a bigger screen, quicker, lighter AND cheaper than the last. The break down and overall 5 star ratings are handicapped by the fact that this was the cheapest Chromebook I could by. For the money, this exceeded all expectations.
