“Can a Dell monitor Model #S2316M be used with this PC other than using the VGA port? The dell has a DVI-D and the PC has the HDMI. It seems that I would have to use some sort of converter/adapter. Would the converter degrade the quality of the HDMI?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A DVI-D to HDMI cable is required. There is no signal degradation because it is a digital signal. The HDMI video signal is the same as the DVI-D signal except that it also has the audio as well.
