• You cannot add more memory. The store sold me additional memory to upgrade it to 16 GB, but when the Geek Squad tried to install it they found it only has one slot and you cannot put more than 8 GB in it.

• You should be able to add a "single" stick of 16GB Ram. The Geek Squad obviously didn't try the single stick approach and just quit.

• Yes. You would probably want two cards of 8gb. The slot is probably a ddr3. The best brand I've used is the brand Crucial.
