There is a 30-day trial of McAfee and there is Windows Defender which is free with Windows 10. Windows Defender is turned off because of the trial of McAfee. You can only have one anti-virus software package running at a time. You can also choose to download any other brand you prefer. Just uninstall McAfee before you download another anti-virus software and be sure Windows Defender is turned off.
