Yes, I ou linux mint on mine and it runs insanely fast. This is really great, solid, and well designed software. You can download linux mint to a thumb drive if you like, and then in the dual boot mode just boot up linux mint from your thumb drive and run it without having to load it on your hard drive, which ai prefer since I don't want anything else running on my hard drive with my windows operating system. Try it, you will liike it and it is very easy to do!
