There are many different configurations of the Dell Inspiron 15.6" laptop. I don't know which one you are comparing to the Flex 4-14. The Flex 4-14 has a smaller 14" screen. Compare processors and RAM. The Flex 4-14 has a Pentium processor with 4GB of RAM. This is a mid-range power configuration. Good for Microsoft Office projects, browsing the internet, online research and streaming videos. If you are going to do more intense computing move up the processor and RAM to a more powerful choice.
