“I recently purchased this computer, do I have to set it up through Geek squad? Or can it be set up through an online manual? I can't seem to find any information online. Thank you!”

I realize this question has already been answered, but the fact remains that Windows has streamlined the setup process. There is no need to have anyone else setup your computer except for two reasons. First, you just really don't trust yourself to do it without messing stuff up. This is really hard to do, but still remains a valid concern for many people. Second, you just plain don't want to. Many people leave their computers with the Geek Squad to be setup simply because they don't want to have to go through the process. Sure, the setup is easy, but it's the countless updates, moving over old data, and installing a ton of necessary software that convinces people to leave their computers to be setup by the Geek Squad.
