A:Answer Yes, it has a fan. These types of PCs do have reliability issues though. I bought a Best Buy refurbished model - it seemed to work okay. I returned it for the newer C940 model. but, these types of machines seem to be experimental in nature - thus there is some risk involved. Overall quality of computers has steadily declined over the past 10 years. Just, make sure to use your credit card - as this will offer added protection should something go wrong or the vendors continue to provide poor support.....
