• It is a 27" diagonal viewing area screen. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio, I don't know what you mean by "wide screen". 16:9 aspect ratio is considered "wide screen". Yes, you can uninstall Windows 8.1 and then install Windows 10. This system is compatible with Windows 10.
