• Yes, you can change RAM and replace HDD with SDD. I did and it runs super fast. The back slides off without tools. Some docs that came with it show you exactly how.

• You can add RAM. Don't know for sure about the HD but I think only the processor and RAM are modifiable. If you want an upgradeable rig don't get this.
