• Hey Connie, This IdeaCentre 3 does come with a wired keyboard and mouse. In regard to using discs, you can use an external optical drive. There isn't a specific type needed, but any disc reader/writer that connects via USB should work.

• Actually I don’t know if it’s possible to adjust or adapt cd compartments in the unit but what I’m pretty sure is that my purchase arrived including a muse and a keyboard
