• We have it lying on a shelf horizontally. We have it elevated using soft sticky feet you can get at any hardware or computer store. We also make sure the vents are not blocked. We've had it for about a month and no problems so far.

• Yes you can. Just store in an area with proper ventilation and do not put anything on top of the CPU.
