“I want to get a tower that I can hook up to a tv as a monitor, can I do that with this one? If I do, will I be able to hear the sound from the tv or will I need a separate speaker?”

Make sure the tv and the tower has HDMI input and no problem,. Attach the HDMI cable between the computer and the tv and it will work fine including the speakers on the tv. I set one up for my grandson and he loves it.

Please try again later.This system has an HDMI-Out port for both HD video and audio, so if you have a TV with an HDMI-In port, you should be able to connect this device to the TV, use it as a monitor and hear the audio through the TV speakers. Be sure to select the HDMI port you plug this computer into on the TV as the "Source".
