At the right of the very top of the front panel is the power on/off button. Below that is first a combo headset/mic 3.5mm port. Next down is a USB-C port. The next two slots down are USB-3.2 ports. Finally, below them, is a SD card reader. The front panel cover slides left-to-right to reveal the DVD burner on the left side. Unfortunately, you must unplug anything plugged in on the right side before you can slide the cover over to expose the DVD burner. You can, however, slide it back over after you insert a DVD and then plug things in again and use the DVD player while things are plugged in. It is kind of a slight design flaw but everything else on this system more than makes up for it in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a terrible design with the sliding front panel. I wouldn't buy another computer with that design as it limits access to the USB ports in front when you use the CD. Why put them there? I copy music CD's to the computer, so in order to load a CD I need to remove everything plugged in on the right front side. Dumb! There are 4 USB's in the rear, but consider most everyone is using a keyboard, mouse, and printer, that only leaves 1 left. I'm going to try a powered USB Hub to see if it will allow an external drive to function. I know the un-powered ones will not recognize the external drive. Just a stupid design.......What engineer approved this?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The front panel covering the DVD player is annoying. Why bother? What's it there for? I have to unplug my headphones et al every time I want to listen to another CD? Terrible!
