The NVIDIA card takes precedence over the on board graphics and you can't use the onboard slots if you have the card installed. The NVIDIA card has one HDMi slot and one VGA slot that can be used, the HDMI slot is the primary so your first monitor should be on that. If you want to use the on-board graphics for some reason you need to remove the NVIDIA card, you can't change this even in the standard bios that comes with the computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Are you playing around with the display settings? Using the main monitor (the one showing picture), go to settings in your start menu. From there go to display settings and begin familiarizing yourself with the various options. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A56CaOO3v8 This video is for Windows 7......but windows 10 has very similar layout (just better). Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was a little confused, also, for a little while. When I plugged the second monitor in, it didn't seem to work. But when I logged in, using the working monitor, the second one came up and was able to be configured.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I haven't had much time to play around with it, but I've tried multiple monitors (from other computers in the house) on both outlets on the back, using the HDMI and standard, with no luck. If no one has thoughts, does anyone know the contact number for Lenovo? Waiting for customer service seems easier than unplugging everything and taking it back in to Best Buy. Thank you.
