Watch the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB37c2uWcpE&t=845 I used an electric tape (of strong adhesiveness) to secure the other end as some one suggested, and it worked pretty well. I would strongly suggest Samsung EVO drive over other brands (performance, and low heat, no personal interest with Samsung). Good luck, and enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. I have the same setup, and it works incredibly well. However, it took me a good 20 minutes to find the M.2 slot (you are not alone), but it is there! Lay the computer down so the power supply is to the lower left. Look next the where the power supply plugs into the motherboard (at the edge of the motherboard, just to the left of the plug). You should see a unit that rises up maybe half to one inch high, and the motherboard should be labeled as M.2 just to the left of that structure. The M.2 slot is at the top of the structure (not the bottom near the motherboard surface). Also, when you insert the M.2 drive, it will hang over the edge of the motherboard, and there is no screw hole to anchor it. I used black electrical tape (get one with a strong adhesive) and just tape it down. It will hold and work fine. (Also, before you insert the SSD, install the Samsung NVME drivers. The card will look for them right away, and they are supposedly better than the native Win 10 drivers for that card.) Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This configuration should be able to support M.2 memory. We recommend you call Lenovo Tech support at: 877-453-6686 for more specific help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally have not looked, however, if the M.2 isn't located on top of the mobo near the PCIe slots, they are a lot of times located on the bottom of the mobo. Take the right side panel off and see if you find access there. Hope this helps.
