A:Answerno, the base is bulky and not flat in surface. Also the mount is not detachable. When opening box it's one whole unit. the base allows it to not topple over though so that's an added bonus

A:Answerit's not loud at all, it turns on so quietly it's amazing. and also, I have an epson xp 4200 attached to it, wirelessly. and it was a quick install, and that's because I'm computer illiterate
