The Lenovo IdeaCentre T540 Gaming desktop ships with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. The VGA port is not connected to the GPU, it is connected to the integrated video processor, which is factory turned off. Video processing is default to the discrete GPU. There are 1x DP, 1x HDMI, 1x DVI ports with video out. Connect your second monitor to one of these video-out ports from the GPU and you will be fine. You may need an adapter to attach the second monitor to one of these video-out ports.
