No. This computer uses Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System.

If it's a Windows 10 operating system computer (it is) then you would have to replace the operating system with Google Chrome to get it to be like a Chromebook. Chromebooks are Chromebooks because they have Google Chrome as their operating system, which makes it faster loading but not as versatile (can't run Microsoft Office).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As has been stated by others, this is not a Chromebook, because a Chromebook runs the Chrome Operating System (OS), whereas this laptop runs Windows 10 Home S a version of Win Home that will only run programs available on the Windows (S)tore website. Any PC that runs Windows S can have the "S" restriction removed, if you prefer; just go the the microsoft.com website and search the process, or Google it. It is also possible to overwrite the OS with other operating systems, such as Linux, Chrome/Chromium, and Android. Google the options. neverware.com is one site for a Chrome OS, but it will not allow use of programs on the Google Play Store; it is, however, the easiest way to load Chrome onto a PC. Android and Linux are the second easiest operating systems to load, but if you don't know the difference between a Chromebook and an Win 10 machine, you might not be technically adroit enough to do it. Just a fair warning. It is also possible to run all alternate operating systems off a memory card or flash drive, allowing you an opportunity to test which other OS you might prefer. This is especially important if you have already loaded important files (photos, etc.) onto the laptop, as any new OS will completely and irrevocably delete anything on the PC. Finally, one last point: every OS you might try will generally work much better than Windows 10 with the installed, and unupgradeable, 4GB of RAM. However, you must also consider what programs you want to run, and what will be easiest for you to work with, an OS you are familiar with, or a new one.
