There is a 30-day trial of McAfee installed that will activate with the initial activation of Windows 10. You can uninstall McAfee and turn on the free Windows Defender software that is included as part of the Windows 10 Operating System, or you can install your own choice of a 3rd party virus protection software. Just uninstall McAfee before using another virus protection software, as there can only be one active virus protection software on the computer at a time.
