Office 2007 (Version 12) is no longer part of mainstream support and hasn't been tested on Windows 10. However, Office 2007 will run on Windows 10, so you can try to use the 25-digit product key that comes with your copy of the software to activate the Microsoft Office 365 software installed on the computer, once the 1-year free subscription runs out. We recommend you contact Microsoft with any questions.

  • QuestionCan I downgrade OS to Windows 7 or 8?, I have Quickbook Simple Start 2010 Desktop mode and wont work on Windows 10

    • Answer Doubtful you could do Win 7 because some of the hardware probably will not work with Win 7. You might be able to install 8, but it would probably be difficult even if it would be possible. I tried installing a new version of Ubuntu Linux, but the network adapter was not recognized. I did not see drivers for Windows 7 on their support page.

    • Answer You can use a universal USB docking station with this model. Please keep in mind, that the IdeaPad 1 14 is an entry-level configuration. It is not meant for demanding performance or multi-tasking. The AMD A6-9220e processor can support one external monitor.
