It comes with the Free version (a free month) of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. So if you do not have a subscription to Microsoft 365 you will have to choose one of the options to buy to continue using the Full Functions of Microsoft Word and everything else or else you will not be able to use them properly or possibly not at all. So you get a free month when purchasing and setting up the laptop unless you already have a Microsoft account subscription then you just log into that and you are good to go! But Yes Word and all of that does come already Installed.
