AMD is iverall better due being great at all things. You see you will get higher performance sometimes in Intel, usually in single threaded processes. Thats mainlybdue.to the fact that rely so heavily on Hyper Threading. which of course, means less battery in devices/laptops, more overheating, more loud fans, less lifespan. AMD holds against them.even for gaming, but excels way better at mutithreading and multitasking. 3D processing dound in many mobile processors today, like Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon are based on AMD technology. And while Intel says theyboutperform even on single thread, thats only numbers not output, so misleading. AMD output and slower ghz outperforms Intel at higher ghz due to chipset. They never address bottlenecking or packet handling. In other words Intel can screem being a Ferrari that goes 100mph from point A to B and carries 2 packages at a time. Imagine the fuel needed as a guzzler, the wear on the engine and overheating when it has to carry 2 packages at a time back and forth when there are 16 packages to do for the task. AMD will be a reasonable sports car and carry 4 packages at a time at 70mph, not stressing or overheating, but comfortable, not noisy, saving gas and less wear. What's faster the 100mph Ferrari who finishes in 8 trips? Or the 70mph sports car who finished in 4 trips? Now compare that to the fact that when needed, the AMD can still boost to multithreading and go from nirmal 3.8ghz to 5ghz too when needed. Mhz means nothing if on a bad design or paired poorly with a chipset thaybdoesnt support the cpu causing bottleneck so all your speed goes out the window anyway. Dont let the intel peeps say to you only Intel good for gaming. Not only can AMD do gaming well, it does everything else way better. They will all get the job done, but AMD has been kicking Intel's tail since the Cyrix cpu, K6 cpus, and even Athlons and Durons. Its just a better design. Now these are top ofnthe PC world. Imagine Unix machines (not Linux) with Motorola PowerPC etc. Theybrun circles around all x86 cpu's altogether. The PC we use running Linux or Windows today is the marketing winner, not performer ofbthe market. Like how vhs was more common and cheaper, so BetaMax died even though better. DVD won, even though laserdisc was better. Tapes and cd's won despite vinyl being superior. That what we do. Easier, faster, lowest bidder. So you visit HP's website, or Lenovo, etc theybtry to sell nothing but Intel. Intel markets their stuff. AMD instead puts into development. Well, there you have it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. That is why they are made by different companies and have two completely different names. If you are asking if they are COMPARABLE, it would depend on specific models: there are both a number of Ryzen Ss and Intel i5s.
