Hi, magicmark. Also, yes, it does come with Windows 11 Home in S mode. You can switch out of S mode via the Settings app > Activation, and if you run into any issues, Microsoft Support can help with the switch.

Yes it has an SD slot. Please click on the "full specs" on the Best Buy webpage. "S" mode is easy to turn off. Just Google how.
