“Can laptop be loaded with Windows 7 instead? prefer Windows 7 to 10”

• If you have a copy, there's no hardware inside of the laptop that requires Windows 10. You may end up with less space as this laptop utilizes a new method of Windows installation which cuts down on disk space and allows for easy restores. I recommend Windows 10, especially after the recent Fall update. It's faster than Windows 7, and if you really miss the Windows 7 start menu for some reason, there are plenty of third-party alternatives that make it look just like Windows 7.

• This laptop comes pre loaded with Windows 10, I however, similar to you prefer 7, you will just have to find a Windows 7 disk.

• Try windows 10. It's a lot like 7. I don't think Lenovo supports 7 due to it's age.
