While it only has 32GB of storage (with about 9GB being taken by Windows 10), that is enough for thousands of basic word\powerpoint\excel documents. You can also purchase MicroSD card to expand storage even further. MicroSD cards go up to 128GB in size. It does include a 1 year subscription of Office 365 Home, which includes Office 2016, which has Microsoft Word. After the 1 year subscription expires, it costs $9.99 per month or $99 per year to continue the subscription, or you can use a free alternative like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.

However, it does include a 1 yr subscription to Office Personal which will include 1TB (a very large amount) of storage space for saving files online as well as access to the MS Word (word processing) software.
