This actually comes with a Office for a year and once activated, you will be able to use it for Powerpoint and Excel.

It will work well with Microsoft Office 365 programs. Obviously, it has a smaller than standard keyboard and again, it is meant for light use at the beginner level. If you feel that your usage pattern fits this criteria, the device will be a good one for you.
