Yes, this will be fine for online schoolwork. Unless you are going to study data mining, video editing, genetic research, etc., this will be fine for general use. You have to be the patient type also as this isnt a fast pc. It may add a few seconds here and there to your tasks.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will depend on the type of programs you will be using. We recommend you check with the school's web site for suggestions on computer configuration for their learning program. This is an entry level, light use system. It uses Windows 10 Home 32-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 1GB of RAM to run. If you need more storage space, there is a Micro-SD card slot on the device you can use to add more storage. There is a 32GB solid state hard drive for quick boot up and quick loading of programs and files. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. It comes with a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365, a $69.00 value. If your requirements fit this profile, this device is a good choice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work fine as long as you don't need to install much additional software and you have good eyes - the screen is pretty small. It may be hard if you're reading a lot of text on the screen or watching instructors who are writing on a board in videos. You could of course add an external display if the built-in one is too small and you have a place to put it.
