“Lenovo, My camera creates very large files when I take pix and I like to off load them to USB HD so I can take pix on clean cards. What are the pros and cons of using this for that purpose? Will it be fast? (Using USBCompact Flash and SD reader)”

There really aren't many pro's for this machine and your needs. The processor is strained to keep the normal Windows 10 tasks going. Even though it's USB 3.0 it still has to push the data though the processor. Get an I3 or better. My pass through data rates are 5 to 10 times as high on CORE I(3,,5,7) because they really are that much more powerful. This is a basic traveller for someone who doesn't do much medium duty processing.
