Sure, this computer is more than enough for just taking notes, reading Powerpoints / PDFs, send and receive emails, browse the Internet, watch online videos, etc. Also this computer is really lightweight and the battery last a long time. But if you need to run resource and graphic intensive applications, such as Photoshop, or other program for your class, look for something else.
