• Yes you can download and install software. By "flash storage" I think you mean the eMMC solid-state drive. It is slower than a standard SSD drive (but cheaper). The fact that it is solid-state means it should be much more durable than a spinning drive. It should behave for you like a 32Gb hard drive with somewhat different performance characteristics (sorry I don't know more about the speed of this one).

• Yes you can download anything as long as there is enough hatd drive space. I have no idea what you mean by flash storage.

• Yes you can download APPs to this system. Space is obviously something you will need to keep in mind.
