“Will Skype work well? I want something I can hook up for conferencing through my tv.”

I added to my laptop and it works well.

Unless you have really bright lighting the camera does not work very well for Skype or video chatting. I had to set up lights and sit with them directly behind me as well as right in front of me to use it. I have not experienced this issue with any other laptop before so I would not suggest using this laptop for Skype.

This will run Skype. This is an entry level, light use system. It uses Windows 10 Home 32-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 1GB of RAM to run. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. Be sure that your TV and any other software you will need is compatible with this system's configuration. .
