This is an entry level computer. It is designed to be an economical choice for a new user or someone who is a light user. It comes with a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365, a $65 value. Obviously the reviewers got the product and value they were looking for and it performs, for them, the way they expect it to.

Some reviews are spot - on as to a product's performance; other reviews aren't anywhere close. Some reviewers unfairly compare a product like this entry - level Lenovo 110s, with 2GB of RAM & a Celeron processor with the most up - to -date, screaming fast gaming PC with 16GB of RAM / best processor out there. Other reviewers don't like one insignificant detail of a product (for ex, white color of this laptop) & blow off rating the other features / specs or give it a "1" star for the one detail not liked. As a reader, you have to learn how to recognize these poor reviews & move on to the next. Ultimately, whether you consider 10 or 1000 reviews, you've got to go with your gut when deciding to buy / not buy (especially if purchasing sight unseen online vs going into a Best Buy to play with laptop for yourself). Please try again later.After years of dragging a heavy laptop through multiple airports I bought this as an inexpensive lightweight backup laptop and for use when I travel. It does what I need it to do and prolongs the life of my faster more expensive laptop that I use at home. For travel, size is more important than speed.

This is definitely not a high end gaming or photo editing device, works well for most user's requirements (browsing, documenting, playing videos etc.). If you use this wisely, it will meet your processing expectations. Good device for basic / light usage.
