• Yes, you can use an extension cord with the provided AC adapter/charger. Any UL tested (CE certified) extension cord with capability of handling Output: 20V 2.25A 45W Input: 100-240V 50-60Hz will work. You may want to consider using an extension power strip with surge protection.

• No Use a smaller UPS for power cord overheating issues and Non-Stop charging of the power adapter cycling off when a charge is complete!!!
