Short answer is NO. This laptop comes with 4gb RAM which is the absolute minimum needed to run Minecraft. With many of the graphical improvements that are being added to Minecraft, I would expect tons of lag if you do not upgrade the RAM for this desktop. Even with upgraded RAM, you will need to play on the lowest graphical settings to have a smooth experience. This is a low end web surfing, youtube watching laptop, not a gaming PC by any stretch :(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are really going to pushing the systems capabilities, primarily the 4Gb ram if you are trying to run Minecraft with any of the recent graphical upgrades to lighting/shading etc. If you are willing to upgrade the RAM then you should be able to run Minecraft, but you are going to stuck running it on the low end graphical settings. If you plan to play any of the upcoming releases and/or Minecraft graphical upgrades, then I would seriously consider a laptop with more advanced processing and more RAM.

We recommend you check with the game's software publisher's web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit operating system (Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.) and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.
