It should easily last that long. Of course it depends on what you want it for. I purchased if for my son to school work from home. It's not a gaming laptop but a very well suited laptop for web surfing and video conferencing.

Yes this laptop will last a good 2-3 years (probably longer) as long as you keep up with Windows update you should be good. I purchased the Lenovo support just in case anything goes wonky as it covered everything on the laptop. I hope that helps.
