“I have a Toshiba 32 bit satellite windows 7 OS Is it possible to transfer files and programs over to this one? I have Office Blue Edition that works great .Can't see paying monthly fee to use word or excel programs.”

Check with the software publisher first, to see if the license for the software you have is transferable to another device, second is the version of the software program you want to transfer compatible with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System - The version of Windows 10 on this IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop. If you can install your legacy software, or if you install a new program that is compatible with the legacy files, you will be able to open the files on the new Windows 10 S-Mode computer. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.
