Q: QuestionCan this laptop boot to a proprietary USB device either with or without changes in the BIOS? And if necessary, can the BIOS be changed by me as I did on my ACER windows 10 laptop (which I am replacing)?

• A:Answer That will depend on the requirements of the "proprietary" USB and the software on it. You can use a universal USB as your media source for creating your own Recovery Media, which will allow you to boot from the universal USB when loaded with the recovery media supplied by this Windows 10 device specifically, during the "make Recovery Media" process.
