It depends on what you're doing if you're gaming on battery then yes. If you're checking email and watching videos no. If it's the latter, open up task manager and see if a background app is using up resources before pinpointing the battery.

If you are getting 2 hours at maximum power settings while gaming, you are probably at the right battery performance. This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Gaming Laptop ships with a 135W slim tip (3-pin) AC adapter/charger, 100-240V, 50-60Hz included, that supports Rapid Charge Pro (charge up to 50% in 30min), so you will be able to charge the battery quicker. If you are getting 2 hours of battery life while you are just doing light tasks like browsing the internet, try changing your Power Management Settings to a balanced or hybrid power setting to get maximum battery life. Change back to a Performance Power Setting for gaming. Some other battery management things to do: set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery.
