CORRECTION: The Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15 Gaming Laptop, model number 81LK01MSUS, is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. This model ships with one 8GB RAM stick in the one available RAM memory slot. Your certified technician can replace the 8GB RAM stick with a 16GB DDR4-2400MHz RAM stick. We recommend you consult your certified technician for your upgrade options.

However, I can tell you that the laptop has a single 8 gigabyte DDR4-SODIMM stick in its only RAM slot. I assume you could upgrade it to 16 gigabytes based off of the PDF specifications that Lenovo mentioned in a previous comment. It's up to you to decide if you're going to do it yourself or take it to a technician.
