• Yes. There are many 3rd party solutions that offer an SSD and a wrapper so it directly replaces the DVD. The 250Gb (around that size) is a sweet spot value for size and price in early 2014. BB has SSD drives, I do not know if they offer the wrapper to fit the optical bay. See Intel 530 Model: BBSSDSC240A4K5 SKU: 1780055
