Yes. There is a limited, 1-year manufacturer's warranty that covers hardware OEM issues.

You have to purchase a separate warranty. I paid for the three year Geek squad protection plan. It covers all hardware and software issues. It's worth getting!! If I spill something on the computer or drop it-all damage is covered.
