Q: Questionwheres the Wifi Option?every other device in my house has a wireless connection. under network and internet i have Airplane mode, data usage, VPN, Dial-up, and Proxy options but none for Wifi

• A:Answer This laptop has all the types of WiFi cards - a/b/g/n/ and AC wireless, AC wireless is the latest technology, it supports 2 types of spectrum, 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz. It all depends on what your provider/carrier is offering you, but with AC wireless, you can max out at speeds above 400 - 500 MGs down. Wireless N is only up to 54 MGs down, and goes lower as the letter goes to the beginning, based on when wireless came out back in late 1990s (Wireless a). Your modem has to support wireless internet or WiFi in order to have this computer to receive a wireless signal. If is just a Ethernet modem, then you cannot receive a wireless signal.
