• yes, it will be fine, but you won't get the full 4k resolution and detail. 4k monitors aren't all that expensive, check em out.

• It is a quad core monitor, I would have to assume it would be good for video editing whether using it with a MAC or Windows. I only have Windows devices.

• The monitor is only 2K, so it won't properly show the 4K UHD footage
