• Well it’s technically a 2k monitor so that should be as good as a 1080 tv

• Yes- monitors can be used for all types of pictures- so long as you have a cord to connect it. I personally use this monitor for gaming, and I love it. I’m not entirely sure about the Mac though - because macs are expensive - but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
